Timeline
1 YEAR
5 YEAR
10 YEAR
I will have finished my R.E license and moving into a full time position in my field. As well as 5k saved towards first property, 5k towards a new car, 5k saved for safety, 5k saved for travel.
By this time Im hoping to at least have 3/4 of a 20% house deposit saved. As well as a newer car. Hope to have purchased my first property in 5 years from this point.
By this time I will have used my equity from first property to add a second property to my portfolio while keeping the first to create a form of passive income.
WHAT WILL 2025 LOOK LIKE?
University
One of my options for next year is to go into university as a full time student, as grateful as I am for this opportunity I'm hesitant. As previously mentioned, a big goal of mine is to own my first property in the next 5 - 10 years. I feel as though a university degree could hinder the succession of this goal as well as I don't wish to be paying off a substantial HEX debt on a degree I don't feel ill enjoy. If I do choose this pathway it will most likely look like living at home while studying full time, and working nights and weekends for my form of income.
Real Estate
My alternate pathway for next year is the Real Estate Industry. I am currently working on obtaining my
Full Real Estate License so once school is over I can ideally go work with Ray White Mudgeeraba to complete my license and be taken on as a full time a buyers agent. As the end of school approaches im thinking about my long term and what is going to benefit my life the most. As a result of this im heavily inclined to follow this pathway and not go to university, because I'd like to be getting into the work force as soon as possible.
